  • Olympic Studios, 117-123 Church Road, London, SW13 9HL (map)

We’re delighted to close our festival with an in-depth interview with George MacKay, in conversation with writer Charlotte Bogard Macleod. MacKay launched his career at the tender age of ten, when he was scouted at Harrodian School to play Curly in Peter Pan. Since then, George MaKay has been a sparkling presence on ours screens, in many films including Pride, Private Peaceful, Sunshine on Leith, The Outcast, and Captain Fantastic.

With his latest leading roles in Sam Mendes 1917, and Justin Kurzel’s True History of The Kelly Gang, George MacKay confirms his place as one of the most exciting, significant, and important actors working today. Long-time Patron of The Barnes Film Festival, George MacKay is the perfect way draw our festival to a close.
